Peractor runs on six surfaces, all over the same account. Sign in anywhere and you see the same organizations, projects, tasks, and runs — updating live as things change.
You do not have to pick one. Most people start a run in their editor, approve it from their phone, and read the transcript later in a browser.
The editor extension
For VS Code and its forks. Everything sits in the Peractor sidebar: runs grouped by what they need from you, the task board, the visual workflow and persona editors, triggers, the wiki, and a settings hub with every connected service.
What only the editor can do: agent edits open as real diffs, code review uses the editor's own review interface, and a changed file opens at its first changed line in whatever editor you prefer.
The web dashboard
peractor.com/dashboard — the full product in a browser, with nothing to install. Overview and usage meters, the task board and views, run pages with the live transcript and gate panel, the workflow and persona editors, the wiki, members, and settings.
The Mac app
A native macOS app, not a wrapped web page. It has a sidebar with your
organizations and projects, multiple windows and tabs, a run inspector,
a menu bar extra, quick open with ⌘K, back and forward
per window, and real drag-and-drop on the board.
The Windows and Linux desktop app
The dashboard's screens in a proper desktop window, with the things a
browser tab cannot do: your session in the operating system's credential
store, native notifications when a run finishes in the background, and
peractor:// links that open the app.
iPhone, iPad, and Android
Native apps for the half of the loop that happens away from a desk. Watch the live transcript, approve gates or request changes, answer mid-run questions, review diffs with per-line comments, try a preview and draw on it, work the board, read and edit the wiki, and talk to the assistant.
Push notifications arrive for the moments that actually need you. iPad gets a two-column layout with a sidebar rather than a stretched phone screen.
Things worth knowing across devices
- Several accounts at once. On the phones, the Mac, and the web you can be signed in as more than one person and switch between them instantly. Nothing signs out, and each account keeps its own notifications and cached work.
- The phones and the Mac work offline, honestly. The runs list, the backlog, the wiki, and your assistant conversations are kept on the device and drawn immediately, marked as a saved copy, while the fresh one loads. A lift or a flight shows you what you had rather than a spinner.
- They pick up where you left off. Close the app on a transcript and it reopens on that transcript, for up to a day.
- Share anything. Every run, task, workflow, persona, trigger, and app has one link, on every surface. See Sharing.
- Light or dark. Follows your system by default; the phones and the Mac also have their own picker.
Availability
Peractor is in private beta. The editor extension ships to beta users, and the desktop and mobile builds are on the way — the download page is the live source of truth, and requesting access gets you in. Self-hosters build from source.
